TOPIC: PURITY IN THE PROPHETIC* *”Let thy garments be always white, and thy head lack no ointment”. Eccl. 9:8* *WHITE GARMENT* *”Let thy garments be always white”*. White garment here depicts holiness, unbroken relationship with God. It also depicts righteousness, purity of heart and clean hands. *”Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? Or who shall stand in the holy place. He that hath clean hands and a pure heart: who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity nor sworn deceitfully”. Ps.24:3-4.* For you to ascend into the hill of the Lord and stand in his holy place, you must have come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. You must have been washed by the cleansing blood of the Lamb of God. The blood that speaketh a better covenant than that of Abel. You must have been delivered and separated from the power of sin. Again, for you to see or hear clearly from God in the prophetic, you have to live a pure, holy and righteous life before God. *”For God is of a purer eyes than to behold evil, and cannot look on iniquity”. Hab. 1:13.* So, your prophetic apparel that will make heaven to recognize and reckon with you is holiness. There is no substitute for this. It is a basic requirement, in walking with God and working for him. The bible says: *”Let thy garment be always white”.* The word of emphasis here is on *”Be always white”*. In essence, God is not saying occasionally, not once in a week, not once in a month, not once in a year and not at ceremonial interval but always; because by His grace, His holiness, righteousness and his very nature are in you. So you have to keep it undefiled. Shalom!
