*TOPIC: The Effects of Music on the Prophetic Ministry* 1 Chronicles 25:1 shows how another seer affected the order of worship in the temple of The Lord, *Moreover David and the captains of the host separated to the service of the sons of Asaph, and of Heman, and of Jeduthun, who should prophesy with harps, with psalteries, and with cymbals: and the number of the workmen according to their service was.* Notice that they were prophesying among the instruments. Music played an important role in the prophetic ministry. That’s why a lot of times you will see prophets and psalmists and minstrels in the house of God today. They flow because the instruments, minstrels, and the psalmists open the door in the spirit and the heavens for prophets to prophesy, to bring forth in the earth realm what God is speaking from the heavenly realm. Whether it is through visions or dreams, a lot of times music can alter and open the heavens for people to grasp a hold of their dreams and visions where you can hear the voice of the Lord with more clarity.
